Jesse-London is an extremely disreputable online retailer. They’re so bad their trustpilot rating has been removed… for the company violating their terms of service. I’ve never even seen Trustpilot do this before. Previously it was a 1/5.

Jesse-London is a Chinese warehouse selling poor quality no-name branded goods, for a huge markup. Think AliExpress, but with somehow even worse customer service.

They are NOT IN LONDON.

My Story

I bought some boots from Jesse-london back in October 2025, because my current ones had fallen apart. Imagine my dismay upon discovering there was a 4 weeks shipping time! My feet were cold and wet, but I thought hey – that’s on me for not checking where they are shipping from.

Eventually the boots arrived – and they were a size 8 (EUR 42), and not a size 9, which I ordered. Now begins the pain.

I emailed them to ask for a refund, due to being sent the wrong size. I got several responses begging me to keep the boots and accept a partial refund (Oh how I wish i had done!), but that was no good to me – I was out 40 quid and still had cold wet feet. I needed the money back.

They refused to pay for a return postage despite sending me the wrong size. This was absolute horseshit and against their own returns policy, but you know what, I foolishly paid another 12 pounds to return the item to China. After WEEKS of emailing their absolutely useless customer service department debating the issue.

Now, a month or so later, I started to wonder – where was my refund? I checked my parcel and it was in china alright – and awaiting a customs payment!

Once again I turned to Jesse-London to resolve the issue and they insisted they were not liable for customs fees on the item! I’m out 62 GBP at this point and absolutely refused to pay it. I wouldn’t even know where to begin paying a customs fee to some post office in China. And their website is in Chinese.

Thus ends the saga so far, and as of April 2025 my parcel is still sitting in some warehouse in China, waiting for the cheap bastards who run this scam operation to stump up the customs fee and walk down the road to get their item back.

Unfortunately I am too late to do a chargeback with my bank (I did try, but it’s beyond the window).

So what else is one to do but set up a website and tell my story to the world?

Heed this warning: Do not buy from jesse-london. If you have already done so and need a refund, I would advise going straight to your bank and asking for a chargeback as it’s pretty clear they refuse to refund people.
